Middle West Spirits Wheat Whiskey is aged for five years on lightly toasted Ohio-made American white oak barrels, then finished in Spanish oloroso sherry barrels. It is bottled at 100 proof and available as of October, 2021.

Nose: vanilla, wheat, brown sugar, slight hazelnut. Taste: Taste buds immediately light up with sweetness. Some dark chocolate notes, a little cherry from the Oloroso finish. Finish: Light oak spice on the finish. The perfect amount of spice to balance the sweetness.
I liked it! Very smooth and almost syrupy mouthfeel. Not sure if I'd buy a bottle for my apartment but it was definitely nice to try
