This second volume of Unabridged: A Blend of Straight Bourbon Whiskeys features pot-distilled bourbon from Texas and column-distilled bourbon from Kentucky made with malted rye in both mash bill recipes. Tennessee bourbon was also included in the bottling. In total, 56 barrels were blended with the ages of the bourbons ranging from 2-16 years. It was bottled at cask strength of 117.6 proof (58.8% ABV). Only 800 cases produced. Available in US & Canada beginning September 13, 2023. (SRP $94.99)

Oaky. Light brown sugar, nutmeg. All the while, still oaky. I ended up making this into cocktails, and it made a mighty fine old fashioned. The high alcohol content and rich oak blends well with the orange, sugars, and ice.
Lots of oak. Green wood. Barrel spice. Semisweet. Moderate finish. Solid oaky whiskey.
