The nose is so similar to the intensity and complexity of regular Monkey 47 you might be afraid the application of sloughberries is far too light, thankfully the oily smooth neat impression clears up the confusion with a dominant cherry and spice profile on top of a distinctively Monkey-esque base. Indian tonic pronounces the spiciness and junipery herbal character of the original as an enjoyable wrap for the sweet cherry in the center, berry tonic melds its flavors with the cherry for an almost annoyingly smooth, agreeable fruity berry impression.

Hmmmm...tough one to judge. Not a fan of sweet drinks and sloe gin generally. Very flavourful and quite nice to drink straight. If you like sloe gin definitely try it out. Sadly mixing it with admittedly terrible Schweppes tonic turned it into a mess. I'm not sure if you should even do this to sloe gin? (Ok I'm not that lazy to Google it's just i was watching the end of a rugby match and talking to people so didn't want to be rude and bury my face in the smartphone!). Lovely nip but I'd imagine I'd get sick pretty quick of the coyness.
Fragrant and sharp. Great with a berry based fruit mixer, brings a candy like quality to the beverage
Cinamony, spicy. Best gin tonic I ever had with a th tonic
