Monopolowa Whiskey 1782

i was a bit surprised to be honest despite me being both a monopolowa vodka and gin fan. your hit with a instant sweetness but just as quickly shifts to a dry cinnamon, hay and oak wood. I think I even detect minute hints of peat in this as well. the finish is long and hot but leave you with an earthy taste in your mouth. not the best thing ever but not undrinkable, and to try an Austrian whiskey, 23 dollars really isn’t that bad. I feel like some highland fans could enjoy this as an everyday whiskey.

Not sure on this one. VERY light in aroma and flavor, ethanol and bright shiny grain mostly. It comes off like a blended scotch that’s very thin on the malt. Kind of a bummer since their vodka and gin are pretty good.

Almost a slight coffee note on the nose with a hint of fruit. The palate is grainy with some slight new oak flavor. Finish is fairly bland with some ethanol.

Sharp and astringent on the nose then surprisingly fruity and sweet on the palette.

Drinks like a aged Scotch. Very impressed. Have added it to my go to list.
