2017 San Fransisco World Spirits Competition DOUBLE GOLD. Whereas most gins are either very busy making it hard to know what is happening, or non-dementional,this Gin has distinctive layers. Juniper is on the nose but not piney; it then transitions very smoothly into coriander; the palette then will detect Lavender and Rosemary with a Smooth citrus finish. BEST of ALL it drinks well with virtually anything Amplifying the flavors that surround it. If you think you do not like gin, try this!
About this bottle
The Montana Distillery specializes in clean, correct spirits derived from distilled sugar beets. There is no post-distillation addition of sugar and raw botanicals are chosen over any sort of extract or artificial ingredient. The curious name refers to birds that find their way into a bar and leave tarnished by smoke and soot. Additionally, former prostitutes who could no longer work after their trade was made illegal were also referred to as 'soiled doves'.
