Moonrise Distillery Distillers Select Bourbon (Artisan Small Batch)

Nose: caramel, orange, and powdered sugar. The smell reminds me of walking into a candy shop. Palate: very oak forward with notes of honey, cinnamon, and butter. Theres something funky on the back end that I’m not sure if I enjoy or not. Decent pour.

Light nose. Toasted light caramel. Body: Small graham cracker/cornbread, more complex than the base straight. Dark cherry with more prominence. Finishes longer. Slightly dusty. This is a good bourbon.
