Moonrise Distillery Single Barrel Bourbon (Artisan Small Batch)

Traditional nose. This is like the base straight that was aged and proofed higher. Significantly better, however. I think tastes a little young and lacks enough complexity to really wow me. It’s good to me because its traditional notes and is proofed higher than the straight, and it is good- just not the it bottle.

Nose: honey, oak, spice, and vanilla. Palate: oak, caramel, spice, and honey. Very traditional bourbon flavors here, but it’s surprisingly good. There’s a pretty distinct leather note on the back end that I really like.
