A pleasantly smoky whiskey, not from smoking the grain like scotch but more of a barbecue smoke. Makes a wonderful Old Fashioned when paired with smoked maple syrup and aromatic bitters.
Just too overpowering With smoke for me. Even mixing it doesn’t calm it down enough. Might try using as a bbq marinate.
Love the smokey nose and tastes like BBQ. Definitely not for everybody.
