(Straight and neat no resting.) Very sweet nose, pepper and fire with a little fruit on the palatte, then sweet again on the finish with undercurrent of orange and sherry. Not super interesting? but will try it with some time and/or water before using it as a mixer. Feels quite decent for the price range.
About this bottle
Released in 2011 in many markets (though not in the US), this blended Scotch is aged exclusively in first-fill sherry casks. The malt components of the blend are centered on Highland Park and The Macallan. The "Naked" bottle has no standard label, but an embossed Grouse instead. Note: As of late 2017, this has been discontinued and replaced with a blended malt version.

Surprised my local had this in Castle Rock CO. Not made for distribution in the states but here it is. Discontinued but they’re getting another bottle in… I’m a bigger fan of the original Grouse but this is by no means bad. Perhaps a little too spicy for me
My first whisky!! Smooth and easy to drink, outstanding smell of sweet However, simply taste and not deep going 8n my mind Overall is suitable for daily drink and friendly to beginner, not matter the price or taste.
I liked this a lot more than I expected off of the nose alone. It smelled like butter, with a little caramel and citrus. The taste is quite smooth and sweet. A very good value if around $30ish
Day 9 of my 2017 advent. This was a pretty unique scotch. Kinda white grapy, kinda appley, and a strange after taste that wasn’t scotch enough. Easy to drink, but not especially delicious.
Another good value. Spicy and fruity. Not as good as some others in this price range, but I would not pass on it if it was offered to me again!
