Nose - Initial bakery scent, with a candy caramel bite. Some serious cherry but more candy. The overall scent smells like a bakery shop with candy and sugared fruits. Twizzlers really hits that cherry candy scent. There is something addicting about this nose. Palate - Oily mouthfeel, very full body. We start off with some cinnamon and barrel char with a nice transition into a slight little oak. Ends with that same Twizzler like flavor that translates nicely from the nose. Some sourdough bread is there as well. Barrel notes is prominent, but not overbearing. The barrel notes is actually very pleasant. Finish - The finish is super long, can last up to a minute! Its more of that damn cherry which is done nicely. A lot of cinnamon and barrel char accompanies but is again not overbearing, but pairs nicely. Comfortable Kentucky hug.
