Neat. Neck pour. ADHD Whiskey’s personal blend. 65% light whiskey, 35% rye, 15% bourbon. I like light whiskey but it all tends to taste the same regardless of the barrel/bottle. Let’s see if Matt added some depth. It’s light whiskey with an added dimension of fruit. So butterscotch, light caramel, graham cracker honey all come through. Then I am getting a combination of blood orange and watermelon (this may be the first time I called out watermelon). The watermelon has been salted too. Not getting much else but it’s oddly refreshing. Mouthfeel is average. Very very sweet up front. Those fruits are coming through (watermelon, cantaloupe, honey dew) immediately accompanied by butterscotch. Geez, medley of fruits and honey mid palate. Butterscotch, honey and graham cracker in the medium finish. Butterscotch sweetness really persists. This is 107 proof and it is dangerously crushable. The melons were unexpected so the blend did successfully add a dimension to light whiskey. It is a fun pour and a good value too.

This is also for Matt’s ADHD blend. It is incredibly drinkable for 107 proof, as evidenced by both my wife and sister happily drinking it and neither typically likes high proof whiskey. Very sweet, but not at all one dimensional. A really great buy, too bad this particular blend is history now. Haven’t tried any other version of this, but am open to it, particularly at less than $40!
Capsule review from 2023 New Orleans Bourbon Festival: A blend of light whiskey, high rye bourbon, and rye whiskey; this drinks mostly as a rye from the nose to the palate to the baking spices on the finish. However there is a sweeter tone to this which makes it more approachable.
The nose smelled like the burned dust smell I get the first time I turn on the furnace each year. The taste is cinnamon and oak. Drinks lower than it's proof. I really like it.
Cinnamon and baking spice on the nose with hints of maple and orange. Strong taste of cinnamon and nutmeg, orange custard. strong flavors that quickly fade into a warming finish.
Very easy to drink. Light on the front palate with some rye spice at the end. Drinks like a 90 proof.
