Flavor isn't as complex as the aroma with burnt caramel, tannic and aged oak, and black cherry. All the complexity returns with a strong and lasting finish that includes tannic and aged oak, burnt caramel, dried black cherry with prune and fig. This is a great bottle for the price.

It's sexy, sophisticated and superb. I am a dark liquor drinker only, so I can be particular- and I am particularly obsessed with this new found bourbon. New Dawn is my new love. There are notes of ginger, orange and apricot, with a subtle hint of rosemary. At first sip it's a little spicy, but it builds into a warm, satisfying heat. Get a bottle for yourself and a friend.
