On the nose it is very port forward, almost smells like it is a port. Then it opens up a touch to smelling the char. It has a plesant spice and a very subtle sourness moving into the finish. The finish is decently long and lingering, but not in a bad way.

On 2nd tasting, the nose is more open. I get more of the spice and pepper behind that port smell. The taste is peppery and spicy, with a nice charred oak included. The finish is long but mild.
Aroma is heavy rye! A touch of bitterness in there as well. Oak up front with a cherry pie filling sweetness. Rye is percent throughout. Done interesting spice notes in the finish.
Amazing smell. First time I’ve loved a wmell better than the taste, and it wqs a great taste. Spicey.
Found it thin, the only depth of flavor being rubbing alcohol, baffling as to how it won any awards.
Virginia, you got me for the last time
