Tasting the Single Barrel pick that is Sherry and Apple brandy finished. First neat in a Glencairn glass. Apple and cinnamon nose. Apple, cinnamon and lingering vanilla in the taste. Mild hug from the 114.6 proof. Second taste, on the rocks. Same Apple and cinnamon nose. The ice really brings out the apple and vanilla. Smooths out the finish. Very nice.

The nose is very similar to captain apple or crown apple. Very strong apple on the nose. The palate is very apple jacks or apple cider. Heavy baking spices on thr back end. Very delicious perfect for the fall
