About this bottle
This product is made by fermenting molasses (from sugarcane sourced in Java), local water, and red rice cakes. This "wash" is then distilled in Chinese pot stills and aged in large teak casks before being brought down to a bottle proof of 75. The name combines the words "nusa", Indonesian for "island" and "caña", Spanish for "cane" as in sugar.
