O'Neill's 5 Year Old Blended Irish Whiskey

A delicate, Blended Irish Whiskey from West Cork crafted with 67% grain & 33% malt, triple distilled, aged in 1st fill bourbon casks, then finished in double charred casks before being bottled at 40% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grain, wood, flowers, fruits, herbs & spices; while a rich life adds notes of barley, caramel apple & toffee; that led to a delicate death with notes of oak, malt & hay.

O'Neil's has a clear, amber appearance. The aroma is of white bread crust and possible barrel char. The flavor is of honey and a slight charred oak note. Is there a peat thing, here? The body is medium, and it finishes mostly dry. RJT
