Met with light oak smoke and leather on the nose. Beautiful and full flavor bourbon, smoke, woody, it's an amazing sipper, the coffee is only on the tail, and it's so wonderfully present, not overbearing like flavored wiskeys, it's just enough to appreciate it and man do I appreciate it. Stays on the tounge for awhile with a tobacco/ black coffee combo and damn is it good. Gonna get the barrel proof of this one for sure.
Oak & Eden Bourbon & Brew - Cold Brew Steeped Oak
About this bottle
Oak & Eden is a whiskey brand based in Texas which specializes in "in-bottle finishing" — a method of finishing a whiskey by inserting a spire, a 5-inch spiral-cut piece of wood, into a fully-matured bottle of whiskey. Bourbon & Brew is part of the brand's Infused Series which in addition to which varying the type of wood for the spire, it is also infused. Here the brand uses a bourbon whiskey which has been aged a minimum of three years. Then a French oak spire which is infused with cold brew coffee made at Voltage Coffee Project in Denton, Texas is inserted into the bottle. (SRP $59.99)
