Odd Society Salal Gin

Reviewed as a neat pour: the nose gives medicinal cleaning alcohols, stewed blueberries, and a funky savoury note reminiscent of hoisin sauce. The palate is more subtle: a pleasant cooked berry sweetness, burnt orange peel, and cinnamon-like spice. A unique liqueur without a doubt – will have to showcase it in some special cocktails.
