NEAT NOSE - Sweet tea, Caramel, Maple, and Vanilla PALATE - This bourbon is silky smooth and glides over the palate. There is a great depth of flavor, but not much complexity. The palate is full of sweet nougat, maple, and caramel with vanilla towards the back of the palate. FINISH - Short. I think the finish here is so short because of the drying aspect that this bourbon imparts on the palate. There is also some barrel char that I get on the finish that I would likely attribute to the Mesquite. BUY? - Yes. I believe this is a great bourbon at a reasonable price point for a limited edition bourbon. BUY AGAIN? - I’d happily purchase this again. UPDATE: MSRP has increased. Ive seen it now for around $100 which is a harder sale. That’s unfortunate because it’s price point of $75 was much more reasonable.

Nose - Lots of sweet sweet spice. Banana praline, cinnamon, vanilla, caramel, Palate - Heavy sweet bitter. Sweet vanilla with loads of cinnamon, oak and pepper. Finish - Lots of bitter oak and little banana, its nice but wish finish followed the nose more directly.
Extra light nosing, amazing touches of wood and cream, light then sharp on the tongue with a lingering tongue bite but light swallow lingers long after the swallow but smooth all the way through.
Too youthful and expensive, but not without its merits. Definitely banana front and center, and if it were cheaper...
Traditinal bourbon flavors with more complexity. Herbaceous nose. Sweet carmel on palate. Medium to long finish.
Sweet and spicy, banana with a touch of char, vanilla bean and honey notes and cherry notes before oaky vanilla.
