About this bottle

First released in Old Forester's 117 Series in February 2022, Extra Old returns in a second batch in 2025. Old Forester 1910 Whisky is further aged in a secondary barrel for an additional 18 months. Bottled at 93 proof, it's packaged in a 375ml bottle. Available in limited quantities beginning January 22, 2025 at the distillery and select Kentucky retailers. A hint of complex aromas that are very pleasing. While a hint of banana was there the dark cherry was the dominant fruit. Sweet dark sugar with light notes of oak. A mild cherry chocolate flavor on taste. Again a bit if oak but balanced well with fruit. Finished ok but a bit thin. Tasted at Old Forester along with 117 extra-extra oak, 2025 Birthday, President choice
