Fabulous overall. I think the oak is a little heavy, the tannins seem to shorten the length of the palate a bit, but great whiskey.

About this bottle
This is the second expression in Old Forester's 117 Series, a limited-expression lineup created in Spring 2021, curated by Old Forester Master Taster Jackie Zykan. It is composed of a blend chosen from barrels from Warehouse K, which was originally constructed in 1953. It is a heat-cycled facility, and has long been used for Old Forester’s single barrel expressions. It is bottled at 110 proof and available as of August, 2021.
