Compating 117 very old to very very old, both have deep raisin and fig notes, burnt brown sugar, but the VVO has a nice marshmallow note and is very soft.

About this bottle
This bottling commemorates the 7th anniversary of the four-alarm fire on Whiskey Row in downtown Louisville. Barrels filled on that day -- with the exception of 8 single barrels which were sold to benefit the Louisville Firefighter Disaster Fund -- were batched to create this limited edition expression. Aged almost 7 years, this is bottled at 100 proof. Availability will be limited to the Old Forester Distilling Co. retail shop on Whiskey Row beginning July 7, 2022.
