Old Particular is the brand of single cask releases from independent bottler, Douglas Laing & Co, who sources these casks from distilleries all over Scotland. Each expression is non-chill-filtered without added coloring and available in very limited quantities. Old Particular Macduff 15 Year was distilled in 1999 and bottled in December 2014, from a single refill hogshead. Only 230 bottles of this Highland single malt from Macduff Distillery were ever released.

Fantastic Highland scotch that is well spiced with smooth vanilla notes. It’s a complex, peppery scotch that is still easy on the palate and lingers. Having shared with friends who love scotch and friends who almost never drink it, every single one has enjoyed this Macduff.
Not sure if I drank this 15, or another one. Ordered at clan Macduff Hotel, a Macduff special 15, cask strength. Change mplex with notes of flowers and toffee, really smooth
