Old Pulteney Single Cask 2004

This is a single cask bottled for Royal Mile Whiskies, for this taste I am using bottle 47 of 588. Distilled 2004, bottled 2020. Color, in sunlight is light amber. Nose is sweet and full raisin, on the palate first note is sweet, very fruity with apple coming through, a slight silky texture, a very mild whiskey burn on the backside, goes well with a medium bodied cigar.

Driest whisky I’ve ever had, but awesomely complex with flavour from nose to finish. Spectacular.

Cherry floral note with some astringency. Very sweet on the palate. Some novacaine and fruit.

Absolutely loved this one.
