Ole Smoky Banana Pudding Moonshine

Aromas of banana pudding. No surprise. Do I really smell Nilla Wafers? Or is that a brain association? Definitely something bready in the aroma though. Hints of rice milk too. Flavor is right in line. Ripe Banana up front. Middle has some heat but not much and it doesn’t linger. The pudding sweetness flows throughout and into the aftertaste. It won’t be everybody’s thing. But I’m a sucker for these sweet creams.

A rich, Moonshine by Ole Smoky Distillery in Gatlinburg, Tennessee bottled at 35% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of bananas & spices; while a slightly creamy life adds notes of vanilla wafers & whipped cream that led to a rich death of medium length. October 2023
