An intense, Moonshine by Ole Smoky Distillery in Gatlinburg, Tennessee distilled from grain & cane before being bottled at 64% ABV. It has a delicate birth with hints if desert plants; while a bold life adds notes of cane pomace & burnt corn; that led to a grappa-like death of medium length adding notes of charcoal. October 2023
About this bottle
This is an unaged American spirit (made from grain and sugarcane) that is marketed as being flame-proof, thus it is died blue to match the color of a high flame. It is bottled (or rather "jarred) at 128 proof.

They absolutely made this as like a “whats the highest percentage we can get away with” joke and ran with it. Its arguably best to try just by dipping your finger in it and then having a laugh then forget about it in the back of the drink shelf and repeat.
Ole Smokey Blue Flame Moonshine is classic legal moonshine. The aromas of pure corn alcohol and pepper hit the nose. The entry is smooth with a palate of corn .The finish is corn and charred corn with hint of white pepper.
At 128 proof, this Corn Whiskey (NOT neutral spirit) is Barrel Proof, without the barrel. Sunoco nose, oily sweet burn palate, pepper warmth at the finish; you'll be nipping this one straight out of the jar.
Very smooth, burns on the way down. Tastes very similar to neutral vodka but with a whisky after taste
This is the real deal. Best legal shine I’ve ever had.
