One Eight Distilling is based in Washington D.C. They source from three different locations for the grain to make their vodka. Rye sourced from Virginia, malted rye from North Carolina, and corn from Maryland. They use “Russian filtering technology” to achieve a smoother consistency. In spring 2018, their core line of products received a makeover and updated brand name to District Made.

Mild alcohol and grain scent on the nose. Grassy, very mild, no burn, with a nice pure vodka flavor with a hint of sweetness. Sightly sweet and very mild aftertaste with no burn down the throat.
