The nose is fresh and full of honey, sweet corn, vanilla and charred oak. The honey finish is immediately noticeable mixing well with a smooth straight bourbon. The palate Is maybe a little too sweet with the honey offering a big dose of sweetness that really drowns out the rest of the character of the bourbon. There are some bourbon nodes there, but not too distinct. You can pick up vanilla, charred oak and maybe even a touch of spice, but the honey sweetness is too strong. The finish is long and sweet, with lasting notes of honey and oak, and a bit of a clash as it all fades.

Honey nose honey flavor and finish. Fortunately I like honey. Maybe a cocktail with krupnik would be nice.
