This smells like not much of anything. The palate is quite herbal though. It reminds me a bit of E&J XO with rum and brandy influences mixed with an herbal backing. The flavors don't really blend well. The balance is absolutely all over the place. There's some clear maple sweetness, but it clashes with anise, oregano, and some cherry. There is a lot of bitter alchohol flavor in here, almost like the crafters didn't care. It's a bit spicy, but not excessively so. There's a bit of a gross off-brand cola flavor to it. This is unfortunately a mess and I wouldn't want to drink it in any circumstances if I could avoid it. The bitter herbal elements make it taste more like a digestif, but I don't want that from a whiskey.

Milk Chocolate hint on the nose. Black pepper, oak, and char on first sip. Soft linger and decent burn in the throat. Burn doesn’t last long and finishes well. Ice dulls pepper taste and adds tannic and char to the finish.
Deep sweetness in the nose and oak Caramel deep complexity. Doesn't at all taste like it's 116. Tastes like a hundred. Interesting orange flavor coming in on the tail. Love this.
Smooth, strong alcohol taste at the start. Fades into oak, smoke, and light caramel.
It's not bad but nothing special. I'm not buying again if that tells you something.
Very smooth, starts strong and finishes smooth. Not very flavorful. Ethanol aroma.
