The nose is full of dark chocolate and charred oak, followed by earthy rye spice, vanilla and touches of leather. It comes off a bit simple, yet it is intense and full with what it presents. To me, that is a good sign. The palate is so easy to swirl around before giving way to a burst of dark chocolate and earthy rye spice, that gets the mouth tingling. The mouth stays full of flavor as a slight chew develops, as charred oak then comes in. It is wonderfully delicious, offering fewer but richer flavors compared to others. So easy to chew on, so exciting to take a sip of. The finish is medium long with a lingering pepperiness that keeps the mouth tingling alongside a wonderful chew. Dark chocolate rounds everything out as it unfortunately fades.
