Oregon Spirit Single Barrel Bottled In Bond Wheat Whiskey

An elegant, Bottled in Bond Single Barrel Wheat Whiskey by Oregon Spirit Distillery in Oregon crafted with locally grown grains (a mash bill of 74% wheat, 18% rye & 8% barley), pristine Cascade Mountain water, that is then aged in new American Oak barrels for a minimum of 5 years before being bottled at 50% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grains, wood, nuts, herbs & spices; while a rich & creamy life added notes of apple pie, honey & grass; that led to a warm & balanced death of medium length with notes of oak, pepper, vanilla, mint, graphite & smoke.

Really solid wheater, lots of honey, little crisp apple, nice and sweet, nose is light herbal/ grassy, good choice
