I love reading other people's tasting notes of stuff I like. It really gives perspective on what i'm tasting. Especially when I'm not gettign what they are. Love this whiskey. It's my daily drinker, so to speak. First, it's a long, long, long - tasting whiskey. Second, it's very easy, kind of low-intensity. Full wheat whiskey 'easiness.' Awesome balance in palate (beginning and end). Whenever I pour one for myself and sit in front of the TV, the wife invariably drinks half my pour. Too funny.
About this bottle
This South Carolina distillery keeps things local by using soft red winter wheat grown nearby for this single cask whiskey. Six & Twenty produces a white whiskey called “Virgin Wheat" which is then aged in new charred oak barrels and becomes the “Old Money.”

Strong cinnamon up front, oak-like spice, and then goes to a vanilla ice cream end. Soft and nice to drink. Not a lot going on and the flavor disappears pretty quickly. Left some vanilla tones at the end.
Nose: Baking Spices(cinnamon and nutmeg) Wheat bread Light cherry Taste: Everything from the nose Slight barrel spice Slight vanilla Finish: Dry Doesn't linger
Really light. Didnt get any spicy like some previous reviews. Seems very young bourbon and easy going. Everyone can enjoy. Good for a free pour tasting
It was alright, I don’t remember it being very soicy or fireball like
Green jolly ranchers on the nose, watery, very short finish.
