The smell is amazing, light and inviting faint reminders of caramel honey, with a small reminder that this is alcoholic. The taste is superb, butter smoothin the beginning starts off with the distinctive scotch flavor whisky warm neutral taste that turns into what tatses like what high quality leather feels like, but then suddenly turns into rich scotch, grain, spicy, Japanese wood aged whiskey, then into a wonderful plum of alcoholic smoke that wonderfully fills you as is goes down the the back of the mouth and spreads acorss the tatses buds to the sides.

This 21 year blended hits your mouth with as much punch as an 8 year bourbon. It's not what i expected. Certainly spicy, with a sweetness that trails. The flavor profile is overpowered by the spice. Would much rather drink a $38 bottle of Aberfeldy

Beautiful scotch. No time for detailed notes but brilliant for under $100.
