Paul John Christmas Edition 2022

NOSE Malt, toffee, marzipan, candied orange, dried fruit, hazel nuts, with some slight pastry spice and copper notes with a light haze of smoke. Elegant and enticing, I really enjoy sniffing this one. PALATE Malt, candied orange, honey candy, marzipan, dried fruit, spice, sultanas and a touch of oak, nuts and copper with a whiff haze of smoke. There is a lot going on here, so many levels to sink into and explore. FINISH Medium -> Sultanas, spice, candied orange and graham.

Man i had high hopes for my first time trying an indian whiskey. The nose of this whisky os heavy yeat. So much it tastes like yeast! Smells just like the grounds of buffalo trace distillery! Doesn’t help the taste of the heavy yeast, immature flavor of this bottle.

What a grand surprise. A great tasting whiskey, straight out of the bottle, neck pour. It's Christmas in a glass! The best aspects of fruitcake plus other spices and fruits. Delicious. Gimme another.
