An intense, Single Malt Scotch Whisky by the Fox Fitzgerald chaps from an undisclosed distillery in Highland, Scotland; bottled at a robust 52.1% ABV. It has a bold birth with notes of fresh fruit, Sherry & bonfire; while a rich & intense life adds notes of peat, sea spray & a hint of spice; that led to an unforgettably long, dry & oily death. Light ash nose. Sweet toffee and vanilla ice cream arrival. Lemon cake. Uncomplicated but very approachable especially after a teaspoon of water to high proof down a little.
