After a tasting at the Tom's Town Distillery in Kansas City, I purchased a 750 for $50. I've come to enjoy this pour a lot. Light, but lively, this is an Indiana-sourced bourbon, with an age of at least 8 years, I'm told, although they have started to distill and age their own whiskey. The time spent in port casks gives it a nice floral note to round off the spice. If you're in the Midwest, look this one up. 85/100

N - light nose with typical burnt brown sugar scent P - medicinal banana is the best I can come up with, get a lot of oak also, a bit spicy F - a little heat (hotter than the 90 proof), that dissipates and is chased by a mild sweetness from the extra finish Overall, a bit disappointing, especially for a $65 price tag.
The nose is fruity. I get banana bread right away. Very woody pallet with a quick bite to start. Has a good finish that left me wanting another sip! One of my favorite to date
Vanilla nose and taste. Slightly sweet Thin mouthfeel Low spiciness (probably due in part to low ABV, not sure about grainbill) Overall, a nice find from the KC area
Sweet and very smooth. The port aging helps smooth out the rough edges and leaves something very complex and definitely delicious. Compares in my mind to Angel's Envy.
Light wood and Bitter it tastes very light, but you actually get hit with a bitter and astringent note as well. It was okay, but I don't think I would go back
