Nose: fruity, slight blueberry. Baking spice. Caramel. Earthy tones, but not unpleasant. Taste: all those flavors from the nose follow through. Very bright and warm. Reminds me of fresh basked blueberry pie. Finish: cinnamon and baking spice. Overall: very pleasant and interesting flavors that evolve over the course of the drink. It’s a bourbon you want to sit and focus on. The earthy notes are very unique; while I wouldn’t want that trait in all bourbons, it works here. Definitely recommend. Score: 4/5
About this bottle
This expression is a straight bourbon that is a blend of two types of mash bills: one wheated and one a high rye blend. These are each matured 4-5 years in new, charred American oak before additional finishing with French oak staves from Tonnelerie Radoux. It is bottled at 104 proof.

I found it very pleasent, well balanced and smooth around the edges. This is a great pour for an after dinner drink at a restaurant. Under $80 its totally worth it.
Nose: Herbal, citrus. Specifically lemon notes. Palate: Tart. Oak. Finish: Average to slightly above average finish - warm and not over powering.
Smooth, but the flavor isnt for me. Overall above average with a good finish, but i dont like the flavor. Almost peaty/scotch.
Rate it “poor,” sour aftertaste and not very smooth, better used a cooking bourbon for glazed salmon or something
Very much reminds me of Cadtle and Key has that bread dough taste with vanilla and oak.
