First sip had me worried but as a few others I've had the second sip was a bunch better. Love the spice on the front assuming it has rye. Didn't look this one up in case I would have a bias for or against. Very solid I would buy again. As always had it neat!
Nose: vanilla, carmel, bread, Palate: rich, baking spice, sweet Finish: medium Overall nothing amazing but a very soild bourbon for the price. 7/10
HEAT.HEAAT. Absolutely a great pour. Has agreat nose, i get a oaky scent with sole vanilla. Palate was a pepper spice with carmel. Would buy again
Really enjoy this Penelope four grain. Very smooth with a hint of sweatness. Does not taste like 112 proof that it is. Very smooth!
Maybe my favorite bottle. So smooth for the proof. Nice sweet taste with a long lasting finish.
Very drinkable for the proof. A very well defined classic bourbon profile.
