Buttery caramel and baking spices on the nose. Creamy mouthfeel. Very little burn given the high proof. A nice drinkable bourbon. Well done.
About this bottle
Like the flagship Penelope Bourbon, this is made from a blend of three mash bill recipes which uses four different grains: corn, rye, wheat, and malted barley. It's aged from 3.5 to 5 years in new American oak barrels with a char #2 heads and char #4 staves. It's bottled without chill filtration at barrel strength. Each batch has a slightly different proof and flavor profile, which is to be expected of such bottlings.

Not bad but get the youth, I bet it will get better with age. I do not like the first half of the bottle but the second half isn’t bad.
Buttery, caramel, sweet and nice burn from the ABV. Truly surprised and a great pour even for such a young bourbon. Well done.
Thanks Ryan! Caramel aroma, flavor is sweet with vanilla, caramel, and rock candy. Surprisingly sweet for the abv. Nice.
A good barrel strength bourbon. A little pricey. Nice finish.
Really like this. The extra proof give this a nice kick
