BATCH #: 23-202 PROOF - 109 ABV: 54.5% NEAT NOSE - Loads of brown sugar balanced with caramel and oak. PALATE - Beautiful mouthfeel. Thick and viscous. Palate follows the nose. There is a hint of rye spice on the palate that is not noticeable on the nose. FINISH - Long, rich and sweet. BUY? - For sure. BUY AGAIN? - I would. They are currently doing these under their “Estate Collection”. I’m not running out to stock up on these but I would definitely buy another one when this one starts running low.

Received a sample from a friend. 109 proof. Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Medíum amber. Nose: Caramel and fruit, with a hint of leather. Palate: Clove and baking spice. Surprising not hot. Finish: Warm but not very long. Splash: A mild minty note appears. Overall: 8.5/10 - This is a nicely complex bourbon, combining some unexpected notes with some more traditional ones. It definitely drinks well below 109 proof.
Neat in a rocks glass SMELL Woody, oaky. Something a little sweet TASTE Also woody, oaky Pretty smooth burn NOTES Really liked this. Its like a sophisticated version of what a guy that doesnt know anything about whiskey thinks Jack Daniels or Jim Beam tastes like. Its tastes like traditional whiskey, but done well. Very well.
This one has quite a nice flavor profile with the complex finish. It gives you the nice bold flavor on the front end and that slow burn on the backend
Pretty sweet with toffee flavors. A little hot but not at all medicinal. Good and smooth but probably not worth $78.
Pretty good flavor, a little heat. Decent finish. Probably not worth the price, but good bourbon.
