Bright and sharp, sparkling. Can taste the rose, not to my taste, but points for originality.
About this bottle
Penelope Rosé Cask Finish is made with the brand's signature four grain bourbon (74% corn, 16% wheat, 7% rye, 3% malted barley). After it's initial maturation, the bourbon is then finished in hand selected Grenache rosé wine casks sourced from the Southern Rhône region in France. The first batch was released in 2020 under the brand's limited edition Cooper Series with Batch 8 available beginning June 2024. (SRP $49.99)

Get the rosé flavor without much sweetness. Replaced with a weakly flavored bourbon.
An interesting whiskey to taste but not something i would personally seek out again
Would have preferred a more robust wine finish. The base whiskey is nice rhough.
