Pike street bourbon whiskey

Pre-Distiller tasting. Picked up my first bottle in Osakis several years ago. Grain and vanilla are prominent. Black pepper & ethanol burn vs. oak on the back suggests 3-year age statement may be both a min and max. Rough edges, but a lot of promise for future expressions, so need to circle back.

One of my go to Whiskeys. Distilled here in Minnesota. Nice spice.

Oak and vanilla on the nose. Quick burn and pepper on the finish.

Very smooth. Can taste the rum.
