About this bottle
Released in February 2025, this limited edition release from Bruichladdich is from its heavily-peated (40 ppm) Port Charlotte portfolio. Aged for 18 years, it was distilled in 2005 from 100% Scottish barley. It was matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon and second-fill sherry casks with a further parcel aged in three different vessels: sherry casks for first 11 years, then virgin French oak for 5 years, followed by second-fill bourbon. Just 8,000 bottles of this 2025 release were produced.
