About this bottle

Available as of June 2020, Port Ellen 9 Rogue Casks is a single malt release made up of a combination of nine casks set aside in 1979. Master blender Dr. Craig Wilson blended five European oak butts and four American oak hogsheads. Bottled at a cask strength of 50.9% ABV, just 1380 bottles were produced.

Masterpiece. One of the best I have tried, period. There is a welcoming peat, which is sweet and not overbearing at all. Oily mouthfeel that just coats your tongue and lasts forever. It is dessert-like in the brightest way possible. Just imagine the most amazing crystallized lemon with a sweet, fresh cream.
