Provenance Auchroisk 11 years old

Distilled in June 2007, bottled in March 2019. One of 405 bottles of the one-refill hogshead REF-DL13163. Unchillfiltered and no colouring. N 21, P 19, F21, B20. Straw colour in a glass. Prominent vanilla on the nose and ripe fruits in the background. A little bity taste with sun-dried fruits and custard cream.

A complex whisky that hits most of the spots but somehow is still missing something to hold it together. Lots of various Spices, the right amount of sweet, a bit of peat, lots of green apple with a hint of red apple but not entirely satisfying enough
