Putnam New England Single Malt is made using 100% two-row malted barley. First released in December 2017, it is the first whiskey the grain-to-glass Boston Harbor Distillery produced. It matures in 53-gallon new toasted then heavily-charred American white oak barrels and is bottled at 100 proof.

was getting medicinal notes on the nose at first, but after some time turned into oak, vanilla and a little bit of butterscotch and caramel. Medium length last in the mouth where you get the new charred oak linger
Disclaimer: Not a huge Rye fan. That being said it wasn’t as pungent as your average Rye. Smooth finish.
