Nose- Brown sugar, vanilla, hint of coconut and fresh pineapple. "BOURBONY" to say the least. Palate- light brown sugar, caramel, oak, and a hint of dark chocolate. The tropical fruits- mango, pineapple, and banana are playful and come front and center towards the end of the sip. A bit of ethanol backbone that rounds out the sweeter notes. Finish: nice long almost bourbon finish. Leaves on a note of chewy, juicy fruit gum. Overall- I love stuff from Foursquare! Being a bourbon fan this is so easy to transition to. It has some bite, but has some tropical fruit and pleasant sugar notes. Imagine taking your favorite whiskey on vacation to the tropics- this is it! Paired great with a Cohiba Maduro

Aroma has an initial hit of banana and then bourbon. Flavor is bourbon. Where's the rum? If I wanted bourbon, I would have bought a bottle. Pretty disappointing, there's nothing "rum" about this. Foursquare focuses too much on bourbon flavoring, a flavor I'm not fond of...I prefer scotch. Rating based on neat sipping and, in this case, the flavor NOT even hinting of rum. I want to make sure I don't buy this again.
Over ripe banana and hints of bourbon on the nose. Palate is full of tropical fruits with banana leading the way, has a little cherry and some barrel spice. It's a little on the thin side and doesn't have much funk but overall a crowd pleasing rum.
