Nose is a lot of ethanol for 100 proof. Hard to get through it but it smells youthful and younger than BiB would suggest. Palate is the same. Ethanol, orange, spice and a lot of grain. Finish is spicy and warn. Probably the best part of the sip. Hopefully this opens up or it will be a mixer for sure.

Nose: corn, ethanol, orange Palate: spicy, barrel char, ethanol Finish: more spice and ethanol Smoother than their standard bourbon but still harsher than it should be. Not as deep flavor profile as the wheated.
Came back to this after being open for at least a month and did it make a difference. Caramel bomb. Kind of one noted but all that grainy ethanol taste was gone
Chocolate cherries with oak richness bursting with a full flavor of semi sweet Virginia bourbon.
Leather, oak, brown sugar, peat, tobacco, vanilla, baking spices, dark fruit, hint of chocolate.
Proof, woody and grainy. Some floral popping up. Caramel hints, medium finish.
