BARREL No. // VER-018 PROOF // 116.30 AGE // 7yr 7mo ALC // 58.15 DISTILLED // 9-15-2017 BOTTLED // 4-2025 MASH BILL // 75/21/4 NEAT NOSE - Toasted Oak, Burnt Orange Peel, Caramel and Brown Sugar PALATE - Viscous mouthfeel. The nose transfers over to the palate. There’s also a submissive spice that comes through that doesn’t overshadow the other notes. FINISH - Bold, but medium in length. The oak, brown sugar, and caramel are the dominant notes on the finish. Unfortunately, this isn’t exceptional or remarkable. For its age, its amazing but it’s not worth $100. $70 would be more reasonable. Regardless, its wonderfully balanced and bold in the flavors that it presents.
