Color: The color on this blended Texan is a light caramel brown. The legs are really watery and thin. Nose: On the nose I find notes of caramel, oak, sweet butterscotch or cotton candy, salted nuts, and the overall impression of a dry white wine; it has an alcohol mixed with sweet fruity sort of presence. Taste: The palate on this whiskey features notes of leather, buttered toast, corn, and a slight strawberry and cherry note reminding me of Twizzlers candy. Finish: The finish is quick to medium in length, leaves me with little to no burn, and has afternotes of red apples with cinnamon, basically an impression mom’s apple pie. How much more American can you get? Thoughts: For this proud Texas spirit, I paired this whiskey with a bowl of carne asada fries, so needless to say, it was a fine afternoon. As far as the whiskey itself, I found it relatively complex and very interesting. There were tastes in this whiskey I hadn’t found anywhere else, and I was pleasantly surprised. I like it! Thumbs up, Rebecca Creek! Cheers!

I was gifted a sample of this a bottle around my area is $35ish. I live near where this is produced(San Antonio). I find it humorous what they are trying to charge for this whiskey. What we have here folks is a Texas version of Canadian whisky. It is actually better than the usual cheap rotgot CC but cmon $35 you gotta be kidding me. Dont waste your time as Im not bothering with notes and such either. Just move along nothing to see here.....63/100
Way more ethanol on the nose than you’d think for an 80 proof. Same on the palate. Simple. Vanilla, oak, ethanol. The finish is slightly unpleasant. It has an odd flavor that tastes synthetic. It’s like vanilla frosting that is very sweet and has been left out of the fridge for about a day. If you want to feel like you’re getting more drunk than you actually are, drink this. Or if you want a headache. Otherwise, stay away.
Nose: banana custard, vanilla, light caramel. Taste: light light liiiiight fruit, metallic vanilla. It's not for me, I get why it's become popular locally, it's easy to drink and goes down "smooth" (whatever that means). But I can't help feel like I'd rather just have the product they are sourcing without it being watered down by their own young distillet.
The taste is smooth and finishes well, but the aroma has a pretty strong pure alcohol burn. Overall, it’s like parts of Dallas or Houston, if you can get past the strong odor, it’s not all that bad, and hell, you might even enjoy it. To be fair, it’s not wholly unlike some of the women I’ve met.
N: extremely light on the nose, cinnamon P: spice, pepper F: spice, Oak, pepper, lingering bitterness and dryness Easy drinking. Nothing over the top. When it started out had a lower price point which made it attractive.
